Methodology
How we build this directory
Last updated
Dealer sourcing
Dealer records come from a combination of public OEM dealer locators, Google Places, and direct submissions from dealership operators. Every record requires a verified street address and primary brand assignment before publication.
Vehicle data enrichment
Make/model/year specifications are enriched from the EPA fuel-economy database (fueleconomy.gov) and the NHTSA recall API (nhtsa.gov/recalls). Numbers shown on inventory pages link back to those primary sources.
Ratings and reviews
Google rating and review counts are pulled via the Google Places API and refreshed at least every 30 days. We do not edit, weight, or filter reviews; the number you see is the number Google reports.
Refresh cadence
- Dealer contact + address: weekly verification against Google Places.
- Published landing pages: monthly content quality audit; stale pages are regenerated.
- Vehicle recalls: daily delta sync from NHTSA.
- Sitemaps and
/llms.txt: rebuilt on every publish.
What we explicitly don't do
- Sell ranking placement to dealers.
- Generate fake reviews or testimonials.
- Show inventory we cannot trace to a verified dealer source.
Corrections
If you find inaccurate dealer information, an out-of-date phone number, or a vehicle spec that doesn't match the EPA or NHTSA source, contact us via the dealer profile and we will correct it within 7 business days.
